Basic information: Shade tends to do things on her own, straying away from others and doing things her own way and her own style.  The truth is, she is afraid to make friends in fear of losing them forever, and refuses to join up with a new crew.  She has a big heart, and cares deeply for others, but tries to hide it the best she can as to not become attached to anyone enough to befriend them.  She has a deep passion for music, and loves to play aswell as listen. She's not fond of talking, so usually doesn't, but she's highly intelligent and very wise and will speak her mind if the situation calls for it. Although she is a magnificent flutist, she is also talented at whistling a beautiful tune. She's not only a skilled flutist, though... she's a skilled fighter, and is quick, agile and deadly in a close-range fight.

Backstory: She was once the musician of a crew called the "Allemande Pirates".  She was good friends with all of them for years, and was also a lot more open with people before the incident.  They were attacked by a pirate ship one day.... and everyone but her and the captain were killed.  They'd made it to an island using driftwood and debris from the ship, both heart broken and discouraged. The captain made the decision to disband what was left of his crew, and so he and Shade went their separate ways.
